The three styles
- Highlight: white text with a thick black outline and one or more words in color. The look of most talking-head Shorts and Reels; reads well over any background.
- Boxed: white text on a solid black box. The most readable over busy footage, and a clean choice for tutorials and interviews.
- Classic: white text with a thin outline and no color. Quiet and neutral, for when the video should do the talking.

Tips for caption text that gets read
- Keep it to two to four words a line. The tool breaks lines every three words, like Capsubs does.
- Highlight the word that carries the meaning, not every word.
